  • Coverage preferences: doctors, medications, preferred networks, household members, and desired start dates.

  • Application and billing data: date of birth, first and last name, full address, and banking information (routing and account number) solely to set up health insurance premium payments with your explicit approval. We do not request other artifacts unless a carrier or marketplace specifically requires them for eligibility.

Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar analytics through cookies or pixels.

From third parties: insurance carriers, marketplaces, enrollment platforms, identity or eligibility verification vendors, and referral partners to the extent needed to quote and enroll at your request.

4. Children’s privacy

Our site is intended for adults. Parents or legal guardians may provide information to obtain coverage for a minor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide quotes, compare plans, and process applications you request

  • Verify eligibility with marketplaces and private carriers

  • Service your policy for its lifetime, including claims guidance, billing, renewals, and changes

  • Communicate by email, phone, and text regarding your request or policy

By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to receive communications related to quotes, enrollment, and service. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

  • Call preference: If you prefer email only, tell us, and we will honor that.

7. Disclosure of information

We share information only as needed to serve you or comply with law:

  • Insurance carriers, marketplaces, and enrollment platforms to obtain quotes and submit applications with your authorization

8. HIPAA alignment

We are generally not a HIPAA-covered entity. When we support a carrier or other covered entity, we act under contractual privacy and security obligations similar to HIPAA. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect sensitive data. Please avoid sending full SSNs or medical records by email.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and pixels for essential site functions, performance measurement, and advertising attribution. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Our site may not respond to Do Not Track signals.

10. Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide services, meet legal or audit requirements, and maintain accurate records. We do not store full bank account numbers on public website systems. Where ongoing payment authorization is required, full banking details are stored only by our contracted payment processor or by the insurance carrier. We may retain limited non-sensitive records, such as the last four digits of an account number, transaction dates, and amounts, for reconciliation, servicing, and compliance.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. Banking information is encrypted in transit and shared only with authorized carriers or PCI-compliant payment processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your information and to opt out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising.
